TikTok Back-to-School Drive
An employee-led effort that grew across communities and markets, connecting volunteers and nonprofit partners to support students and families.
I have always been the person who asks, “What if we actually made that happen?” From building communities inside TikTok to creating cultural events and campaigns for brands and artists, this is some of the work behind that question.
Explore the work ↓I work at the intersection of digital strategy, community, culture, and experience. A project might begin with an idea, a stage, a social account, or a room full of people. What matters to me is what it becomes.

During my five years at TikTok, community building became more than an interest. Through BLXCK and cross-ERG collaboration, I helped connect employees, organizations, and volunteers to support families beyond the office. The Back-to-School Drive is one of the clearest examples of how those connections became real action.
For me, the story isn't only what we distributed. It's what people built together—and how an initiative grew beyond its original scope.

The Cookout brings Nashville's employee resource groups together in one place — Black ERGs from Live Nation, BE Nation, BEN (Amazon), Sony, Warner Music and the Recording Academy, alongside TikTok's BLXCK. Kinfolk led; for the last two years I supported the vision, bringing what I'd been doing nationally home: the planning, the branded environment, the balloon installation and the details that turn a park into a place people don't want to leave.
That's the shift I care about most — taking community building from a national platform and making it real, company by company, in the city I live in.
My work has moved between platforms, brands, organizations, and live experiences. That range is valuable when a collaboration needs more than a post or a logo on a flyer.
Five years of Trust & Safety experience at TikTok, content strategy, and practical knowledge of online communities.
Leadership within a 900+ member BLXCK employee community, cross-ERG connections, and nonprofit partnerships.
